Local 7 President Ryan Olinger organized a collaboration between Local 7OH and Buchtel Masonry Vocational students to do some volunteer work at the MAPS Air Museum near the Akron-Canton Airport.  MAPS is a military aircraft and history museum that is maintained and run by volunteers, most of which are retired veterans.  Journeyman Bricklayers gave 1 on 1 instruction and worked alongside the vocational students in order to put up an 8 inch partition wall.  Some of the volunteers included:

–  We had (6) Local 7, Akron volunteers

–  (1) Local 6, Canton volunteer

–  (1) Local 5, Cleveland (Vocational Instructor Matt Simpson)

–  (1) volunteer who is an 894 laborer and Air Force Veteran
