OSHA 10-Hour Classes Scheduled for Journeypersons
OSHA 10-Hour Classes are currently scheduled for OH-KY ADC Journeypersons for the following dates: November 15 (Part 1) & November 22 (Part 2) and January 10 (Part 1) & January 17 (Part 2).
The OSHA Outreach Training Program provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. The program also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. Through this training, OSHA helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights, and contribute to our nation’s productivity.
The November classes will be held at the Local 55 Hall – 3005 Lamb Ave., Columbus, OH 43219. January classes will be held at the Local 46 Hall – 1310 Siler St., Fremont, OH 43420. The OSHA Part 1 classes start at 8:00 am sharp and conclude at 4:30 pm. Part 2 classes start at 8:00 am sharp and conclude at 2:00 pm. You cannot be submitted to the National Outreach Center to receive an OSHA 10 Hour card if you are late for class or leave early, per OSHA requirements.
Registration cost for the OSHA class is $20.00 no later than 5 days before the Part 1 class date. OH-KY ADC members can register for the classes by contacting your local representative to complete a class registration form, or contact Don Mays at 330-382-9600 if you have any questions.
